Getting tire patched?
Hi folks,
Ran over a nail on the way home from work today. It seems to have formed a seal, as my tire isn't leaking air (still shows 35 psi!). I'd like to get it patched, if possible, as the tire is otherwise in very good shape. Any recommendations for shops in the city that can take care of this? I'd like to minimize how far I have to travel (for obvious reasons), so places as close to Manhattan as possible would be highly preferable. Thanks |

Patching should be good enough, I saw the other thread and I don't think we need to worry about lateral forces tearing the tire apart doing 70 on the LIE, lol. Good luck.

Lolz, looks like we found 2 good shops in Queens for Echo then. I'm guessing you're as particular about where you take your car as I am. I used to go the Firestone route for my old car to do things like alignment, but when they kept messing up, I found the 106th St place. Good reputable and reliable Indy shops is the way to go.
