New BMW OEM Leather Seat material
Most M3 e9x owners would love to reupholster their drivers seat with fresh BMW OEM leather. Fox Red is such a great color, but after 180k miles, a new seat would be sweat.
Does anyone have the info to order the new BMW OEM leather (P/N)? A good recommendation for a leather upholstery interior shop in LA would also be helpful. Some place that you have actually used recently is best. Cheers |

Your best bet is to buy some seats from a scrapped car. I've seen a set as low as $400 Canadian here in Toronto.
The material alone is way more expensive and its a pain in the ass to replace.

You can look up all the part numbers on real oem and order thru your dealers. Like Gordon said, the leather covers aren't cheap like brake pads or spark plugs so you need to be prepared to spend before heading down that route. If you happen to have friends that work at dealership they might be able to help you out with their discount, otherwise look for holiday promotions from the likes of Tischer
And these aren't items that are always stocked at regional warehouses so they will likely have to be shipped over from Germany. From point of order to delivery I think it was about 1.5 month or something like that for my leather pieces to arrive. Do share when you find an experienced shop to do the seat reupholstering around LA. I'm in need of one too

Your best bet is just get it reupholstered. I don't know the chances of finding Novillo leather available, but you may also want to consider upgrading to Nappa leather or something like that.

You said new “seat”....after 180k, with fading and wear, you’ll be wanting to do all seats, if not just the front two.
A good independent should be able to source quality matching leather and rebuild the wear and tear under the leather. |

The BMW part numbers for the leather covers are indeed on RealOEM. FUCHSROT!!
Costs about $2200/each for the BMW OEM leather for the front seats (Back, Seat, Thigh Support). Thigh support is only $140, while the other two leather pieces are $1000 each. No one has ever graced my back seats, and I only had a passenger twice in 10 years. So my leather is like new, except for the driver's seat. I might try to get a like new passenger seat and swap parts with the driver's side. I think that might work with 2 of 3 seat components. Also need to add some padding for the butt. Sciatica pain, especially after I leave a BMW dealership in SoCal. Cheers |

They have all three pieces available.
Thanks for the BMW Leather link. Fox Red pair gloves or maybe a whole couch. Cheers |

I have swapped cushions and covers from passenger to driver side before on BMWs, but it is a lot of work. The entire seats and frames, I do not know about. There are controls and stuff that mount to the sides that may or may not fit. Right now, I am swapping the seat bottom cushion with a new one on my E90M3.

Put your VIN in and it will yield your colors. The link above is all black stuff as my vin was input. If you're looking for a specific color find a vin from a car online to find the particular colors you want.
