E92 M3 values in Australia
Hi
Does anyone have any thoughts on what E92 M3 values will do in Australia? (assuming clean, unmolested, relatively low mileage M3 with all the paperwork) I reckon E46 M3 values have stabilised or even increased; M4 values seem to be falling, probably because the turbo engine isn't quite as loved. But will prices of the E92 M3 with its atmo V8 start to stabilise and maybe even, one day, increase a bit? Or am I dreaming and should have bought a Porsche 5 years ago... |

I agree. Old model Porsches are the Sydney Housing Market of cars. I had a 964 C2 with only 50k and sold it for $60k 8 years ago. You can't find a C2 and if you do it's over $120k with taxi mileage.
The new gen cars will not be remembered for anything special. The older gen cars (that retains some connection between driver and machine) is what the future classics will be. Remember, classics are not about speed. They are about the look, the sound and the driving experience. The E92 has in my mind the sound the connection and the look...... |

I work on "Banjo's Luck", which is if I keep my E92 M3, process will plummet, but once I sell it process will skyrocket.
So all anyone needs to do is keep abreast of my posts and once I sell mine, then wait for their car to appreciate!! |

Look at R34 GTR prices, they have gone through the roof!
We nearly did the deal in 2013 on a 2002 V-spec 2 for 60k, now they are 120k+

That said, having owned AWD cars in the past, I'll now always want my "sports car" to drive only the rear wheels. |
