My only complaint ......

Are you guys as disappointed and frustrated as I am with what I feel is the one despicable part of this car; that stupid pass through in the back seat with the leather insert that just falls out and the stupid plastic container that also just comes completely off? Do you guys know what im talking about? In comparison, I loved how my 335 center folded down and cup holders popp-ed out. I still havent found cup holders in the back seat of my 2011 E92 M3 (not like I would really let anyone use them but still).

Anyway, im just venting.

What does the cold weather package have to do with it? I got the heated seats but didnt need a ski bag.

That's where they stuff the ski bag. My last M had cold weather and that it always came apart as you've described.

I live in Denver so it does get cold here. I think I have used the heated seats every day since I got the car. But I would never take my M skiing so I dont get the point of buying the whole cold weather package.

I got the cold weather package. No issues here.

Got the cold weather package because I wanted heated seats and the fold-down rear seats. I don't mind the front headlight washer so I went and paid a tiny bit more for the package.

I used the ski hole a couple of times. I stick my snowboard in the middle when i have 3 passengers with me going skiing...but there's no excuse for the lack of armrest and cupholders in the back. Very embarrassing.

Yeah, it's pretty embarrassing having people in the back seat and they ask what's wrong with the armrest lol.

E92 only. You can get a cupholder to fit in the passthrough/ski-bag if you want. But you're still stuck with the middle-seat/armrest/plug hanging their like a scrotum sac. Would it have really been that big a deal for BMW to put this thing on a hinge?

Cheers.

Yeah I hated it too...but then again i don't care about the people in my backseat.

It comes in handy though if you ever get pulled over and have to throw anything illegal in the trunk since they need a warrant to search the trunk
