WA: Exoticsat Redmond Town Center
May be kind of early but wanted to share and see if anyone is going or planning to go to this.
https://www.exoticsat.com Also the link says there’s something coming up soon: “We plan to have a winter meet and greet indoor series down at America's Car Museum. This will be purely social, and daily-drive appropriate. So stay tuned for that.” Not sure if that happened already or not.

Yep, I go all the time to RTC. However, in the beginning M3s are hard to get in, since they only allow for "exotics during opening"

They basically don't allow M cars at all with a few exceptions:
"BMW: Select Alpina Models, 850, I8, Z8, Very select M Models - due to the large number of M cars, we will be selecting only the finest examples and in limited quantity (GTS, CSL, etc). Select Vintage." e9x M cars just aren't rare enough or exotic enough to qualify. The allowed list is here: https://www.exoticsat.com/criteria/ Honestly, I don't think Porsche 911's should be allowed as they simply aren't rare or exotic either. The rest of the list makes sense. |

Gotcha.... good to know. A buddy of mine really wants to go. I don't know the area much, but I'm sure we can grab another parking area and take a look at the exotics.

^ Agree, RS cars are more rare.
I read the FAQ and found a couple of interesting statements: "Still, we try and make it work for the benefit of spectators if it’s with a special group or there is ample room without displacing a true exotic. As it is, we blur the line with BMW Ms sometimes and AMGs because you don’t see that many around and they are regarded as interesting by spectators. We do however have to limit the quantity." It also states that the gatekeeper that day has full control on who is allowed submission. I bring this up just to say that if someone really wanted to park their car for this event there is a chance. You may have to email them and have some very tasteful mods and it may have to be coupled with the chance that they are low on participation that week and wouldn't mind the space. |
