I think they make great winter wheels. I have a set that I use in the winter wrapped with winter tires. But after running 359's it definitely takes a hit appearance wise when I switch to 219's.
Definitely one of the nicer wheels BMW has made.

Love the look! I want a square set for the track so badly but too pricey. I have square 359s for the road. Where'd you get those carbon doo-dads on the rear bumper. Don't know what they're called haha.

Love that wheel too, almost got a set to alternate with the 359's. 220's were my favorites in the beginning, I prefer the 219's to them nowadays but 359's have moved to #1. BMW designed some nice wheels for the e9x.

219M was the standard "base" wheel throughout the entire run of the E9X M3 in N. America. It has been said that the 219M was actually designed specifically for the North American market to comply with TPMS regulations, but nobody knows for sure so go figure. Both the 260M and 219M received Ferric Grey finish until Sept. 2010 production (aka: "2011.5", "September changes") and both were finished in silver afterwards. The wheels itself did not change with the 2011.5, only the color. With that said, my 2011.5 came stock with the silver 219M and I really wished BMW stuck with the Ferric Grey finish.

I assume you have just correctly chosen to ignore any wheels fitted to a non-E90, because E90's are teh bets evar
