Meisterschaft GT2+ACM Test Pipes=Ridiculous!!! video added

So after waiting a few weeks for the next batch of ACM Test Pipes to get in, they finally arrived yesterday morning (well worth the wait). I rescheduled my entire day to make time to throw them on. I took advantage of the Combo/Intro pricing for the Pipes and ESS tune. The installation was super easy, I completed the whole install by myself in my garage with only floor jacks and jack stands. From start to finish it took a bit less than 2 hours. All in all very easy.

Before the test pipes I was running the Meisterschaft GT2 with SR connecting pipes. That alone was pretty loud but sounded amazing, consdiering all the hype about the gains from test pipes it was definately next on the mod list. I don't daily the car so I wasn't concerned with how loud it would be. As soon as I finished the install I has to take it for a drive. Aso soon as I started it in the garage I quick learned that Meisterschaft GT2+ACM Test Pipes=Ridiculous!!! Pulled the car out and went for a drive, all I can say is amazing! Aside from the difference in sound the additional power is immediately noticable. Any one considering a simalar set up should absolutely do it, you wont regret it!

I spoke with both Matt and Lalit @ ACM, the service was awesome and I would definately recomend them. I will post a video soon, as I know it will be appreciated. Thanks for reading.

This! If GTHaus was such a shady business I'd consider their exhausts because they do sound great

Congrats man. I will say that any axle back exhaust only - just sounds 'ok'...any exhaust I've heard on the Ms...only when adding test pipes/HFCs or something, does the perfect pitch sound come out. Adds more character through the rev band.

Enjoy the added power...tune and test pipes have kept my desire for even more power at bay...hehe...I was getting use to the power before getting them.

NY emissions inspection w test pipes

I'm putting in the same combo this week ACM + ESS + GT2. Wondering if this will pass NYS emissions inspection? I've done a few searches but nothing conclusive shows up. Any input from my fellow NYers?!

I got a new inspection sticker the day before I installed the pipes and tune. I believe if you try to inspect with the tune and pipes it will just show not as not ready for the cats. Im not 100% sure. I would also recommend updating to the most recent BMW software before the ESS flash if you aren't currently up to date. I think its 241e.
