i'm actually gonna buy brand new pieces so the holes will be as accurate as possible, then sell them (hopefully) once my metal one gets fabbed. Thanks for the offer though!!

makes sense! do you want the metal wire/hanging brackets? figure those can still be useful.

Its been ~6 weeks, any word on this?

Im looking at finding a metal fab shop locally to make myself one, along with a few extra I can sell, but dont want to go through the hassle if yours is almost complete.

Thanks!
I've been trying to contact the friend of mine that was making these for me for sometime now with no luck. At this point I'm assuming this is no longer happening on my end. Good luck with yours, I may be your first customer haha.

Do you replace with OEM from BMW or buy aftermarket? Wondering how well aftermarket fits.

Aluminum would be nice! Can't really understand the advantage of having felt under the bumper :

Thanks for compiling. I just noticed mine are all funked up and need to order a set. Seems to me its such a poor design choice by BMW.

All modern cars must pass tests for levels of RF interference radiating out and also for susceptibility to external interference. Unfortunately, when BMW decided to let these parts hang down as air deflectors, they became too easy to damage. Metal parts would work also but impacting them would likely transfer a lot more force into the associated bodywork, resulting in more expensive collateral damage. It seems that at their original price in the low thirty dollar range, these corner undercarriage pieces were sacrificial replacement parts. Not so much at today's prices!

Aluminum under panel attached with plastic screws (tons of plastic screw options available per google) would be the best solution in my opinion. Now we just need to find someone who works with sheet aluminum and get these things produced!

Are there any aluminum alternatives available??

I need to redo my front bumper and under trays again - got destroyed going on and off multiple tow trucks this past summer. Really want to get this done before bimmerfest in May.

This is important to me - maybe there is a resiliency award or something for the guy that blows up his motor and comes back the following year rolling better than ever in the same car - hehe

I did have 3 of each as extras but it seems I have exhausted my spare supply over the last few years..

Crazy how much the prices have gone up.. and it's just not on these but on many other parts we try to stock.

Any update to an aftermarket alternative? My felt undertray ripped to pieces this weekend and I do not want to replace it with the same garbage part.

I noticed this AM that my right side splash shield is gone. Left side looks pretty beat up.
Then I looked for replacements and found this thread. Why did the prices for these felt things go 200+% from 2010???

Wanted to add a link to this discussion of an aftermarket alternative in aluminum.

Interest in aluminum custom front undertray replacement?

so still no aftermarket options? I'm not looking for a aluminum one... just an OE replacement that is under $200.
