'Ring and Hockenheim Lap Times

Auto Motor Sport had a round-up of lap times round the 'Ring and Hockenheim from their road tests going back three years that I've scanned in for those interested in these comparisons. Includes several different M3 models at Hockenheim:

E92 M3 (on sport tires, which I think means Sport Cups) - 1min 14.3sec
E93 M3 DKG (DCT) - 1min 16.3secs
E90 M3 (on sport tires) - 1min 14.6secs
E90 M3 (on PS/2s presumably) - 1min 15.2secs

Fort comparison:
E46 CSL (on sport tires) - 1min 13.5secs
M5 - 1min 16.8secs
M5 Touring - 1min 16.5secs
911 Carrera - 1min 16.1secs

I thought the M3 is much faster than a C63. So for Hockenheim, the C63 is only 1-2 slower (1min 15.7secs)? I thought the 911 and the M5 would be much quicker.
