e92 M3 1/8 Irwindale Drag Strip

A buddy from Spain living here wanted to see what all the fuss was over the drag strips, so we went down to Irwindale an ran his E92. It was his first time going down an he spun 1rst gear completely through so his time was 9.4 I believe.

We decided we try another go but they were closing an we only got one pass

Here are some pics I took, the quality sucks, had no tripod an was just point an shooting but you can get the idea.

You may know this guy as Javi??? on here. Hes been terrorizing CA tracks with his M3, an GMR

We were out there having fun rather than being competitive. First time on a drag strip no one gets a good time, between calculation the lights an learning how to launch there's too much going on to get a accurate time.
