Nop, that is probably the front apron that belongs to Nd54.

Great pics, what is it you do the the front apron? Its really not clear at all from the pics. Can't really tell the difference.
That raised edge looks similar to what was done on the Ericsson body kit.

Progress

Today we reinforced the structure with foam, which allowed us to cut into the original air intake to enlarge it.

Progress

Yesterday we finished the rough design of the main intake, and today we will be removing the side section and designing the brake intake/front splitter section. Once all the elements are defined, we will mirror the design and start working on the surface details. We were hoping to finish the front by Friday, but it looks unlikely at this point.

Well you might as well just throw the M3 badge in the garbage. This is a whole different car.

Some do actually do that!! But some others like me would like to believe it’s an improved bespoke M3. Still 80% or so of the same car and that other 20%is highly improved. However you cut it, its still an M.

Thought maybe the DCT owners would care, this stroker will work with DCT cars.

Yea it does make sense that the DCT would be over-engineered to handle a 30% or so increase in torque.

You are getting it for your vert? That is awesome!

Adjusting the gearing in what sense?

Yeah, the vert is getting it. The transport co is picking the car up Sunday and should be at RDsport by Friday. The 6MT and M-DCT trans have different stock final ratios(MT 3.67)(M-DCT 3.15) that I belive favor the MT at 115 mph+ , but if I do this right the acceleration in the M-DCT should highly improve all around. But also depends on the top speed I want to achive.

I will remove the side reflectors, as euro cars don't need them and US owners don't want them, but the bumpers will work on PDC cars. Like the 335i bumper, we will have a PDC kit that will include the template and the 4 PDC sensor brackets (this is an OE BMW part). Your body shop will just drill 4 x 18mm holes prior to painting. Here is a picture of the 335i rear bumper with the PDC installed.

The rear of the M3 AeroKit will look similar, however it will be wider to match the M3 flares, and the carbon diffuser will be quite different.
