Progress
Yesterday we finished the rough design of the main intake, and today we will be removing the side section and designing the brake intake/front splitter section. Once all the elements are defined, we will mirror the design and start working on the surface details. We were hoping to finish the front by Friday, but it looks unlikely at this point.

Well you might as well just throw the M3 badge in the garbage. This is a whole different car.

Some do actually do that!! But some others like me would like to believe it’s an improved bespoke M3. Still 80% or so of the same car and that other 20%is highly improved. However you cut it, its still an M.

Yea it does make sense that the DCT would be over-engineered to handle a 30% or so increase in torque.

Yeah, the vert is getting it. The transport co is picking the car up Sunday and should be at RDsport by Friday. The 6MT and M-DCT trans have different stock final ratios(MT 3.67)(M-DCT 3.15) that I belive favor the MT at 115 mph+ , but if I do this right the acceleration in the M-DCT should highly improve all around. But also depends on the top speed I want to achive.

The rear of the M3 AeroKit will look similar, however it will be wider to match the M3 flares, and the carbon diffuser will be quite different. |
