I'm surprised yours isn't gone already. That's a good price.

I have a conclusion that no one actually buys cars here.

My experience with selling a bunch of cars is that the forums are among the worst places to get a buyer. Not always (my last Jeep sold a year ago for more than I paid for it, oddly enough), but generally. I've always found auto trader to have the best price/time/quality of buyers.

eBay used to be OK but since '11 I've noticed more extreme lowballers there than anything else. Very few serious buyers.

True, I did list on autotrader, only scams so far. But now sale is pending so luckily get it sold soon.

I am looking in advance for a purchase in the next month or two and I find this forum better than autotrader. I think partly because I would like to buy from an enthusiast and I am willing to pay a bit for some mods.

Autotrader is purely a commodity sell. Everything equal. Mods dont sell well there.

M3 isnt a commodity and little things like, oh the rear seats dont fold down or thats not the absolutely perfect color combo for me nixes the deal.

Yeah I totally agree with your point of purchasing from enthusiast and have some mods on it. I bought this M3 on forum as well.

It just different approach from each buyer, some may just interested a lower price, or a fully moded.

But I seems to see more buyers want super cheap car with free mods lol
