the c63 seat are nice. looks like the leg bolsters are more substantial as well which is what the m3 needs. i would trade for that but the rest of the interior is busy looking with chrome accents which doesnt belong.

Is it just me or are the AMG seats really really tight and hard? They don't feel comfortable to me at all. I do really like the look of the seats versus the M3 seats. The seats in the S5 imo looks as good and feels better than the AMG seats. The tach is hideous but thats my opinion and center console and the area of the shifter is no go. The nav is boring, the M3 iDrive is a lot more "prettier" in my opinion when I looked at my friend's c63 with the p31. I also don't like the foot activated "hand brake thing." And what Fruitcake said, all performance buttons are together where as on the AMG they are hidden everywhere. You have to move your hand to get center console to modify traction and to change from comfort, sport, manual mode next to shifter. I like how clean and simple the M3 dash looks.

So my vote goes to the M3 but I "may" be biased.

Perhaps it's because the M3 is my fourth BMW, but I do find the interior a bit bland especially in black.

It's not even worth going so far back in the posts to find out where you quoted this from.

With a simple tune and bolt ons on the C63 you'll be so far behind in your E46 M3 that you won't even be able to see the tailights. So your comment about modability is ridiculous.

The M3 also gets hit with a gas guzzler tax...so again lame.

If you want to argue an E90/92 M3 is faster on a track fine.....but please don't discount how crazy fun the C63 can be.

I agree. Gotta love the hypocrites on this site. As if the M3 is a "green" car. If I could do it all over again, i would've gotten the C63. I had a lot of fun driving it and frankly, the E9x M3 isn't special. You can tell by all the ones you see sitting on lots still.

Interior does look nice, but the exterior lines are boxy and ugly plus no MT = fail for me. But if you like the auto and don't mind the subjective flaws with the exterior I can see why people love the car.
