WTB: Eisenmann Race for E9x M3

Hi all,

Looking to get a better sound out of my E90, and I'm thinking an Eisenmann is the go. A car I test drove when searching for mine had a Race fitted, and it sounded unreal.

Local pricing feels a bit rich considering the price in Europe, so hoping someone might have one I can take off their hands!

Ideally in Victoria, but I'm sure we can work out a courier if interstate.

Thanks!

I saw on gumtree someone selling a valved Remus system.

otherwise plenty of people are running modded stock muffler...costs much less and the noise is unreal and you get to choose how loud you want it. just a suggestion

also have you seen/heard the M3world systems? lots of guys on this forum run it..

To be honest I've somewhat had my blinkers on having experienced the Eisenmann Race first hand. Would certainly consider other options, especially if I could hear them in person!

It's a tough one because a "good" sounding exhaust is a personal thing ..... I had a proper listen, in person, to a few systems before coming to a decision (YouTube vids mostly bear little resemblance to the real thing) and will admit to going with the full M3World system. Apart from really liking the sound in the first place, I was attracted to their valved rear section as it allows me to choose when I want full noise - this may not be a consideration for you but I don't think I could bear a loud exhaust ALL the time. Maybe it's just me!

Also the M3World high flow cat/resonated X-pipe enables me to run a Stage 2 tune, also a key consideration for me that may not necessarily apply to you ....

Which ever you decide, you won't regret an aftermarket system as the stock one is just too tame....!

Yeah, most of the YouTube videos are pretty poor, hence ideally wanting to hear in person before I commit.

100% agree about the stock system being too quiet, just doesn't have any gravitas at regular speeds and modest revs. The C63 shines in this regard.

What did your system set you back if you don't mind me asking?

Curious about the modded stock muffler, not sure where to get it done if I went that route. Anyone spotting this thread had it done in Melbourne?

I haven't but as noted above it seems popular.

i went to my local exhaust guy and showed him some pics. its self explanatory. you just have to choose what noise level you want. there are 4 pipes inside. 2 have a lot of perforations and the other two smaller amount of perforations.

i used this for info...

Thanks Jon
Of note too M3post members get a 10% discount. These systems were originally done for M3post members but they have grown quite some and are now very popular. The website shows a retail price. Like everything else there have been price rises so the aim here was to keep prices as low as possible for members

Thanks to Andrew my car now sounds nuts with the Eisenmann Race

Would like to look at tweaking the tips as they stick out a bit far, but it sounds awesome!

I’ve got the race too, good sounding exhaust and extremely loud with an aftermarket X pipe.
It’s likely that exhaust is the e92 model which is slightly longer. You could cut a weld the tips to shorten it

Yep it’s an E92 exhaust, knew going in but the price was irresistible
