I just installed this yesterday, did you have any problems with getting the mufflers to sit higher in the rear bumper? I feel like mine are kind of low. Ill post some photos when I get home. Thanks in advance

I've always wondered if it's possible to wire this directly into using the M button on the steering wheel. Has anyone ever done this?

Didn't have any height issues.

Highly doubt it unless you got an entirely new module as this one is wireless. Also, you'd need to do a lot of wiring to get that to work, and likely it would render the normal Mbutton function useless. Couldn't have both.

I swapped back to my Corsa setup, so unfortunately sound clips will not be coming. Apologies.

You know, since these remotes are assuming RF, technically we could sync the on and off buttons to 2 buttons on the homelink. CTSV guys love doing this for E-cutouts.

Correct. I believe EAS states somewhere that this was possible.

Bomiz was a bit too quiet for me when closed and too loud when open. My corsa with TP's is the perfect volume and tone IMO. Personal preference.

No idea. Never dyno'd it. Didn't notice any difference in the butt dyno.

You have peaked my curiosity on this setup. I'm OEM exhaust mod right now and that is great for normal street driving but it is very quiet on the track..

I have had many exhaust setups in the past, including both the ACM mod and 4 pipe mod.
Both are great of you don't want to touch cats.

Any issues?

Hey guys, any Bomiz owners having issues with the valve operation? Mine was working perfectly for the first month or so and now it seems to have developed an intermittent issue where the valves don't open or close every time with the remote. Tried both remotes and checked all the wiring but everything looks ok.

JP the only issue I ever had with mine is that I found less than 12v going to the module. Disconnect and check for 12+v into the module with the key on or engine running. If it's any lower like under 11 it won't work. May be high resistance in a connection you made.

Ninja the valves come already installed on the pipes. They are electric motors, NOT vaccum operated like other kits. It's as simple as plugging in the supplies wiring harness and tapping into a 12v key on source or just plug it into your cigar lighter.

Ahh ok I have some valves installed in my gintani exhaust but not sure how to wire them up. There’s a vacuum hose and a power source for them though

I had my exhaust installed by Mike from precision dynamics 2 days ago. Mines the bomiz valvetronic axle back (like yours) and a bomiz catless race x pipe

Does anyone know where I can find this same receiver and remotes for less money outside of Bomiz?

Does anyone know where I could get a replacement receiver and remotes for this valved exhaust? My receiver has failed, but the box isn't warranted anymore. I'm hoping to get one cheaper than what Bomiz sells for as I've already gone through two of them...
