Why electronically limit the top speed of a car that has all sorts of engineering in it that is intended to improve track performance?

That blue is awesome...small bump in price too. BMW knows how to drive sales with nice details!

PS is the European standard but bhp is used in the UK, so not sure where HP came from!

Santorini would definitely be my first choice!

What i dont get is they still have NOT included the Performance Exhaust as a part of all this "limited edition" stuff. Lame.

I was thinking this too. Is it because we pay a lot less for ours than most countries?

Are you surprised? Guessing they'll do one more somewhat less special edition for the US before they end its life.

I'd really like to see some pictures in Imola though

Maybe that's exactly why BMWNA currently doesn't have any plans for limited/special editions for North America. Does any one have numbers comparing US sales vs. other regions of the M3? I could see these limited editions as a marketing scheme to get more sales or help familiarize other regions with the ///M brand.

I'd buy one.

I just hope that BMW has something a little better to offer the USA when we get our "special edition."
