Price check 09 E92 M3 DCT
hi all
I'm close to buying a 09 e92 M3 DCT with 110K miles on from the 3rd owner. Carfax checked out clean. Going to do PPI soon. Got down to $23K from 25. condition interior 9/10. Orange seats. Barely any wear is seen, the current owner replace all the worn trims. Dog hairs but can be dealt with by proper detailing exterior: 9/10. Gray. No scratches or dent/ding was saw. Key items Rod bearings replaced and ARP bolts New DCT @ 40K miles KW v3 coilover deleted EDC+ front sway bar APEX wheels new engine mounts new front throttle actuator/thermostat & sensor/O2 sensor replaced new front control arm kit new DCT steering wheel/center console and switch LCI taillights and bunch other stuff said to be replaced with OEM part Test drive comes out solid comparing to my 17 X3. funny thing is the owner replaced a bunch of items that usually don't get replaced |

hmm.. I'd make sure the PPI looks for signs of accidents that might have not shown up on the Carfax.
Two months ago I paid 22.5 for an 09 E90 DCT, space grey, 96K.. but I need RBs (assumed I need to get them no signs of issues yet), so that's going to cost be 2.4K. Not sure if that helps any. |

Thanks for the info.
PPI came out OK from a shop recommended in the forum. The mechanics did mention the front bumper is slightly out of alignment on one side but no structure damage can be seen. The bumper turned out to be a new one. Throttle actuator is failing so that might be some money to spent for replacement. RB is replaced. Windshield strip is wearing out, not sure how much that costs yet. DCT oil pan sweats, the mechanics said it was normal.(but considering this is a replaced DCT) |

seems high for mileage.. 20k would be more reasonable.
I paid 24.9k for a two owner 09 coupe. It had just 53k miles and loaded with DCT, premium, tech, individual audio, CF roof, etc. Came with Dinan stage 1 suspension and fabspeed x-pipe too. |
