Rear diffuser fitment question

I just purchased a rear diffuser and I'm about to install it. I noticed the edge of the diffuser, you can see where there is no CF Weave towards the middle of the diffuser. It doesn't look right. Should there be no areas exposed that doesn't have the CF weave? Other than that, it fits right.
Should I exchange it?

That doesnt look like it fits at all. The sides should sit flush as they look like its hanging. It looks as though it needs pushed back farther. Not sure if you have double sided tape on there but I would try seeing if you press the sides up and in more which should bring in the middle. If that doesnt work I would exchange it as that fitment is pretty far off.

You are exactly correct...looking at the first picture that was posted the diffuser is for the E90 and not E92. The curvature at the ends doesn’t line up to sharp edges of the E92 whereas the E90 has rounded edges/curvature.

Definitely return it OP and ask for the correct model.

It's not installed yet. If I hold it on, it'll sit flush, it's just the middle part of the diffuser has a section exposed with no weave.

Ok, thanks. So not only does it have edge that I've no weave but the ends don't line up right. I'll have to look to see what a proper diffuser fit should look like. Thank you all for your feedback .

********. They just emailed me and said it's supposed to look like that (the top edge) I'll just return it.

The front splitters fit ok. Those will probably get messed up anyway so i don't want anything too expensive up front.

The trunk spoiler looks good. I'll install it next week.

The fit for the carbon mirrors had a small gap, but so did the original covers. I can live with a small gap. It looked uniform.

I couldn't make out who you've purchased it from? Break up the spelling please.

The diffuser you got is for the E90 M3 sedan which is why you are having fitment issues which you can clearly see on the ends of the diffuser.

I found a sweet one from EAS. I'm going to get the Vorsteiner GTS-V. I'll wait for Black Friday to make my next wave of purchases.
