The dealer now carries leather cleaner wipes which are handy and if you buy in bulk, they are pretty cheap and guaranteed. I use Lexol but it has a slightly funny smell that is not bad but I don't like it. It's a sweet, slightly rancid odor with a hint of oak and oily bouquet. : )

The dealer wipes are very convenient and the odor is lighter. I'm positive Lexol is great but as I said, I don't care for the odor. My sits in the garage a lot with windows closed so maybe not an issue with daily driver that is opened all the time. Just try the dealer wipes, they are guaranteed and very convenient.

Has anyone ordered these? How many "wipes" come in a single package? @$5 each, I'm afraid its only one wipe, but is one wipe enough for a single complete cleaning? I plan to order Leatherique, but wanted something for those "in-between" cleanings.

I use about 6 wipes for the entire interior including shift knob, parking brake etc.

The package re-seals but once opened won't last forever so I usually will use the rest on my leather lazy boy and wife's steering wheel and finish off a package. So really you use one package for an entire car. I prefer the individual packets like this however. I have tried the big plastic tubs that have more but they end up drying out prematurely which is why I prefer these packets. I clean mine about 4 times per year. You can buy the Lexol cleaner and conditioner and it will last longer and be better but if you maintain the leather it shouldn't need the deep cleaning.

As I said, there are better and cheaper ways to clean and condition but these wipes are really convenient and I find that like gym memberships, the best gym is the one that is the most convenient and you will actually go to! The better methods are in fact better, but if you end up not doing it because it is a hassle, it will be worse for your leather.

Finally, borrow a bottle of Lexol from someone before you buy and make sure you are OK with the odor. It's not bad but I personally don't smile when I open the door. It doesn't smell like leather. It smell like something damp got in your carpet and has an "off" odor.

Lexol is sold at Walmart and is usually in stock. Get one bottle of clear and one of conditioner.

Tried them all on my Novillo and Lexol is BS compared with Leatherique...

For off-the-shelf stuff, Lexol is a safe bet, as many others have said.

There isn't a massive difference across most of the cleaners that I've tried (Lexol, Sonax, P21S, Nextzett) -- I think a lot of it comes down to periodic cleaning so you aren't trying to remove a year's worth of grime all at once.

I use leatherique once a year and it holds up well. Downside is that it's a long and painful process.

Use a steam cleaner. Use a triangular attachment, wrap a microfiber towel, and steam the crap out if your leather, literally. You have no idea the amount if dirt, grime, and other stuff coming out of it. It's literally like unclogging pores.

After that, recondition the leather

I will echo the sentiments for leatherique. I use it about twice a year, leaving a space heater in the car when it's cool out.

I will also suggest giving Meguiars Ultimate Leather Balm a try as an in-between. I tried it on a whim because it smells great (fruity, kind of pineapple-y, have also heard it described as coconut) and I love the Meguiars Ultimate product line. It costs about $12 a tin, goes on and comes off easy, leaves a nice finish and adds a nice smell to the car. Worth a quick check out in any case.

If it's a hot sunny day, I usually close the doors and let it bake in the sun for an hour or two. I apply it twice a year to all the seats and usually every interior clean to the excess wear points (usually front seat bolsters).

I let it sit two days, ideally in the sun. Works great and the results are worth the wait!

If you mean the Rejuvenator oil ...You can let it sit for 2-3 days , the result is even better .

In other words...
The Leatherique treatment has 2 steps .

1- *The Leatherique Rejuventor oil* => let it sit for + 24 hours or longer
And wipe it off with damp cloth => warm water

2- *The Leatherique Prestin clean* => wipe on => wipe off

And finally you get this...

I typically did 4-6 hours, or whatever the maximum time in the direct sun would be. You can cheat and use a hair dryer in case you're having a period of cloudy days.

Basically, what's happening is that the heat is causing the leather pores to open and suck up the oil. Remember, Leatherique Rejuvenator is actually a conditioner, NOT a cleaner.

Test pipes in combination with the Oem. exhaust mod. sounds really (too) raspy ..
