Tendency is generally to over tighten stuff. 3NM is pretty gentle depending on the length of the ratchet handle.

Idk, I like torquing everything to spec and marking where critical.

How are you measuring torque in such a tight space with a screwdriver handle that has an extension on it and a 10mm socket on the end?

You dont measure tq on a hose clamp you use common sense.

I 1/4 drive torque wrench with an extension and 6mm socket. It's pretty simple

To me, i think the trick is to get someone to press down firmly on the plenum and then tighten the clamps. If i don't press on the plenum, it wants to slip out of the silicone couplers.
