sorry no updates recently.. been super busy with work and family.

Had my first track day in the e92 and I love this thing!!!! I tracked my e46 quite a bit and this car feels amazing.. With just the minimal mods, this car was putting down times similar or faster than my e46.. Excited to see how this car does with more mods.

I do have Recaro SPG XL seats w/ Brey Kraus mounts and i3 OE sliders and I picked up a POM performance GT4 v2 lip because I definitely want to do the brake duct kit.

Here's a few photos from the track day.

not many updates lately... cars just kind of sitting there right now as work and home life is crazy.

I did get a brand new MPP steering wheel about a month ago and finally had a chance to install it along with some Autoteknic paddles. What a difference this made in the feel.

Definitely love it!

Finally got around to installing 2 new OEM BMW throttle actuators... I was nervous it was going to be a tough job but it was pretty easy and straight forward.. Complete job done in 2 hours.

Here's some pics.

Welp, decided to keep his car and actually enjoy it some more.

Ordered a ton of parts.

-POM GT4 v2 Lip
-Volk TE37 SL 18x10+25 in Limited Edition Diamond Silver
-275/35/18 Falk RT660
-GAS Monoball FCA
-Pinnacle Motorsport T45 roll bar

Once all of this arrives, I plan on ordering Team Schirmer Seat mounts for my Recaro SPG XL, Hotchkis Sway bars, and do subframe and diff bushings.

More than likely going with solid bushing for the subframe but torn about diff bushings.

What's everyone's recommendations? I really don't want diff whine.

If you want zero diff whine then stock is the only way. I use Powerflex diff bushes and even that whines a bit.

Ordered Hotchkis front and rear sway bars today.

Here’s a pic of the tires and wheels sitting in the garage waiting for install.

Valve cover gaskets and new plugs were done today! Also has the chance to mount and balance the wheels and install the GAS monoball control arms!

Excited how this is coming out. Next is an alignment, sway bars and mount the gt4 v2 lip!

Just got the car back from the paint shop.

Had both bumpers resprayed, shaved the reflectors for the euro look, installed the GT4 v2 lip from POM, and also installed my Metak rear diffuser that's been sitting in storage for over a year!

Got the car home and had the chance to mount up the TE37s after ceramic coating them.

Need to adjust the suspension a little bit and play with the spacers, minor rubbing on big dips. Overall, I love how this is coming along!

Also made some purchases to get ready for this years HPDE season!

Scroth profi II FE harnesses, IND tow hook covers with cutouts, BK Floor mounts, and now I'm just debating what BBK I want that won't break the bank.

Seems like a hit or miss from the factory, as I recall BMW even saying some condensation is okay (ie, denying warranty claims for condensation).

My factory headlights had condensation after heavy rains or car washes. It bothered me and the only solution I found was taking them apart and resealing them. This requires removing the headlights, baking them to soften the glue/sealant, cleaning them, and then applying new sealant. I did this on previous cars of mine, but it's a PITA, so this time I had BayOptics do that work and rebuild/upgrade them at the same time. They're still perfectly dry now, 3yrs later.

I'm going to see what happens over the next few weeks, i priced out an oem headlight and they aren't that expensive, Id buy a new one if this continues.

I thought the OEM headlights are open to the atmosphere via a vent tube, so some condensation can be normal.

thanks for the info, I guess I'll wait and see if it clears itself after sitting in my garage.
