That color is epic, looks a lot like san marino blue, definitely keep us posted!
That's exactly why I wanted to do this color. Here's a render of the hopefully final project

That blue is bomb. Reminds me of the USB on the ISF.

Stopped by the wrap shop today to ask some questions. Was advised if I'm buying a black car, and want to do a light color like that pearl white, that black can show through the cracks if you don't do the jams.

What's everyone's paint colors underneath some of these wraps? Are they just being anal? It's about another 1k to do jams.

I'm thinking stick with the blue I guess.

OEM - Jerez Black. Door jambs are NOT done.

It works nice, because I have a black interior as well...so, you don't get distracted.

Cool thanks man. I appreciate the shop for being anal, but yeah, I wouldn't have been able to tell it was black under there.

I was kind of leaning towards the pearl white, but that blue is gorgeous as well.

here is my m3 done by auto skins out of central Wisconsin. Satin white with a Satin red on the wing and the mirrors. The wrap is almost 2 years old and has seen winter/salt and still looks perfect.

If your interested in a pearl the other 3 series is done in a White using KPMF wrap film. (white w/green and coral pearl)

I was looking for blues too. Is your color new? I didn't see it when choosing mine.

A couple more progress pictures. It's really odd, I can't seem to capture the true color with the iPhone picture. IRL there's a much stronger metallic flake.

Dang, that color is exactly what I would be shooting for. Are you doing this yourself? I would rank as a 9 on the DIY scale (I don't classify as 10, because I choose not to do my own tuning :P) would you say this is a fairly simple job just requiring time and patience?

My quote was 3k for a vehicle wrap minus door jams.

It's newish but it's in the standard 3m 1080 color catalog.

I've been working on it with a friend of mine. I used to work in a vinyl wrap shop that he ran so we have several years of wrapping experience but wrapping is something you can somewhat teach yourself. I taught myself how to wrap on my previous car but ended up needing to purchase way more than enough vinyl to compensate for the learning curve mistakes. It's really about patience and experience.

Thanks man, I think I'm going to opt for the exterior to be done professionally and do the door jams myself later. I get that it's likely the toughest thing to do, but also not visible for more than .001% o the life of the wrap so small mistakes I can live with. Whereas I want the exterior perfect.

Yup, I think that's the one. Unfortunately I bought an ISF instead of an E92 so am jumping ship haha.
