I’m hearing from the autocrossers that they are comparable to RE71R in terms of speed and durability, but want a wider rim for the same size and a little more air presssues and/or camber and/or other setup changes to get balance right. And they’re as good in the wet too, subject to the laws of pbysics with so little tread depth and so little void area

I've been considering this tire for awhile but haven't had the chance to try them yet. Interestingly tire rack now identifies them as "original" and has only a limited number of sizes available compared to what they used to have, I'm curious if an update is coming. Probably going with re-71r's again next but nice to have options.

We had a few sets of those at our shop and I ran them at a few track days. The grip level is amazing and you feel super confident in the corners. They are rated at a 200 treadwear which goes along with RS4, AD08, Sur 4G but suspect its closer to a 100-140 in reality.

I ran them for one or two track days and really liked them. Cup2 had more grip in the first few heat cycles but the A052 had more consistent grip as additional heat cycles were accumulated.
