Question 27C3 - DMTL Leakage Detection

Hey guys. I’ve had this code since I bought my M3. I already replaced the actual DMTL pump on the rear drivers side. I was doing some research and I found something about a connector on the intake manifold that can cause this error? I am also getting some light idle surging as well. Any input would really be appreciated!!

For those of you who might research this problem in the future. Use OEM parts. I installed an OEM fuel tank vent valve and everything is good!

Thanks! I read that this was a part that can go out, so while I was doing the water pump job, I replaced mine with a cheap one. Looks like I'll be going back in with OEM cause the replacement threw a fault. That's what I get for going cheap.
