Dyno - Stock vs. Encore Innovation xpipe w/HFC's, Rogue Eng. Pulley, AFE Filter mods

Here's a few dyno charts, same runs, stock vs. added bolts ons (Encore Innovation X-pipe with High Flow Cats, Rogue Engineering Pulley and an AFE filter, on 91 octane. Dyno's were done at VF-Engineering in Anahiem, CA.

We see dyno charts posted from time to time, some here maybe unsure about correction factors, as you can see below there can be a decent size difference depending on how it's presented, the standard should be SAE.

Regardless the mods added as much as 30WHP & 20WTQ over the stock car! With race fuel and a tune, I believe 20 - 25 more WHP is possible.

No drone, some resonance, but only when it's cold. The guys at VF-Engineering said it sounded very good!

Nice numbers bro.... I could have told you how much you are making a week ago ! Did you see how much power the turbo upgrade it making already..... 470whp and he is only 1 day into tuning it. looks like it has a lot of possibilities.

Thanks for your reply - where is the resonance (in terms of RPM) when it is cold?

As someone who wants the performance of down pipes but wants as much of the factory exhaust sound as possible, do you think the Encore X Pipes will introduce too much of a change in terms of sound?

Similar to the E46 M3 with HFC's, when it's cold the resonance is more pronounced, when it warms up it goes away. It's more pronounced when you shift, but that subsides too. I do not like loud exhausts, and I probably won't be changing the stock muffler.

I would say there is a slight increase in sound while going through the gears passively, but it's a great sound, and pretty much stock like while cruising, and no drone, but great WOT sound, if that's what you are looking for this xpipe with HPC's fits your needs.

I spoke to the owner of VF, he is up for a dyno day. Maybe a E9X event, with a minimum of 10 cars. I'll work on setting it up if there's enough interest.

Cool, it would be nice to get an assortment of cars there, mostly E9X M3's, and at least one stock one, maybe a RDsport stroker or a SC'd car if they are ready soon. A couple 335I's, maybe an M5 or two as well to make it more fun.
