The 997 is definitely the better "daily" driver. However, the E92 sounds amazing and is more fun to drive around town. If I was going on a long highway drive, I'd take the 997 and if I was cruising around town I'd take the E92.

BTW FWIW I wouldn't get the actuators done proactively. Save the cash for when it fails. When it does, the car will still be drivable, so there's no advantage to getting the fixed before they crap the bed.
So, unfortunately, I kinda held off on getting the actuators replaced and I need to do them now. Car has been in limp mode all of today and yesterday. Any recommendations on where to get them? And what else I should be doing once I'm in there?

I saw a DIY here on the forums and looks easy enough.

Your best bet is to start a new post in the appropriate sub forum to get the most eyes on it. Your question will be buried in this thread and may not get quick answers

Really ?

Interesting - I have a 997 and an M4 and I find the 997 more of a go-kart and kind of better around town.
But the M4 is just more comfortable and higher tech, so it's a better daily driver. I find that after a week of driving the 997, I am over it - too low, too rough, too little tech etc.

Based on your comments, I think I need a E92 more now

I think you need to test drive one to actually get a feel for it. Drive it around for 10-15 minutes and you will notice what I'm talking about. Lol.
