Met some TV peeps... Conan O'Brian, Arnold, Carmen Electra..prolly more. But never talked for long with any of them.

Talked for a while with Bill Auberlan and Boris Said. Cool guys. Boris looks like a total animal (tall, crazy hair, unshaven, etc.) but is very intelligent and technical.

Met a couple sports peeps...Barry Bonds, Jerome Bettis, Barkley, Jordan, Pipen, etc. They all go to the Tahoe Celebrity Golf Tourney (sans Pipen)....my buddy is one of the Chairs for the event. He rubs elbows with them all day for four days. He says most are really cool...but a few are dicks. He could get me into the clubhouse, etc. to rub elbows, but I could really give a crap. lol I thought it was pretty funny though..

A goofy asside: My bro works for American Airlines...usually first class. He said he had Oprah on his flight once (Chicago to San Francisco). She DEMANDED that the african american attendent in the rear of the plane serve he, and not my bro. lol. My bro was like whatever...working first class apparently sux big time, so he was happy to trade places. Apparently if you work for the "official airline of Oprah", you do what she says. No idea why she said that....maybe she doesn't trust people other than african americans? No clue. I thought it was pretty funny.

Thats pretty odd. My family has small ties to Oprah and she rocks a Gulfstream 4. You can do that when your'e worth 3billion dollars.

Hung out with Greg Popovich, coach of the San Antonio Spurs several times. My uncle and him are best friends so we get to hang when he comes into town to play the Pacers. He's a cool guy and very smart. Got to see Eva and Tony Parker when they played the Pistons a few years ago for the championship.

Personally I've seen a number of celebrities in LA, just didn't care whatsoever to interact. I don't think of it as anything special, people are people and only those for whom I have significant respect are worthy of my attention, no matter if they are publicly known or not. I did get to spend some time with two extremely well known soccer people, a manager and a player whom I think are among the most intelligent and smart people, especially in sport. Most people here wouldn't know them since soccer isn't that popular in the US, but for those from Europe who do know about it, they're Jose Mourinho and Luis Figo.

I met President Nixon a number of years ago. He stopped by unexpectantly at my school. He said he was on his way to visit his daughter in upper NY. He was just walking around. A few of us just walked up to him. I got his autograph on a business card. Someone else had him sign a "delinquency notice." Nixon looked at it and said "What is this?" Also, had some appetizers/dinner at Al Gore's house once when he was still VP. I was an intern at the time. Saw the two drum sets that his wife Tipper had. A few of us were feeding cookies to his two dogs -- trying to see if they would get sick. I have a coffee cup I was given as a souvenir that night. It has a U.S. flag on it and Al Gore's signature. I use it everyday at work.
