Dude, enjoy your new car!! Drive safely on public roads, and take it to the track! We have to agree to disagree amicably on this new Model's place in BMW, and automotive history for now. Since you were banned from the F80 M3/4 forums, you seem to have found comradery with us here in this section. That's great, but keep in mind that some of us are entitled to our opinions, especially when we're not counting down the days to delivery of a brand new car like you are

Did you criticize his E9X M3 review like this? Shit, I was giggling [at the video], and I wasn't even the one behind the wheel. God knows what I'll feel like when it's actually me.

Actually, my comment was not aimed directly at his review of the F80 but more in general. I'm not disputing the merits of the car, more so his reviews as of late. I'm just tiring of the reviews that are basically just one long drift, whether it be the F80, E90, or any other car.

Funny you say that. I never really watched Chris Harris reviews til lately. First was the GT3, a few in between, and now the M4. My first thought was 'all this guy cares about is how well it drifts'.

If you look at the full review, you'll realize that isn't the case at all. The drifts are just icing.

No man excited for you sure it's going to be awesome. I've got a few long months of waiting ahead of me. I'm just glad I have not had one pull up next to me on the road yet. I would probably go directly to the dealer ha ha. |

Look at how he went through all the things that we'd care about, almost like a list. - Steering: no feel, but likes it better than E92. Here's why - Suspension: Planted, turn in great - Sound: sounds almost like a 335d. Not as good as V8, but still great - Power: torque ect ect ect... He does that with all cars. Starts off on the road, then goes to track. I mean, what else do you want from a reviewer? Honestly, these reviews don't matter that much to me as I've already driven the car. I just think that Chris Harris does a great job describing what I'd be like to actually be driving the car. Unlike Jeremy Clarkson that does stupid sht for 10 mins, and then let's the Stig take it out for a lap --> that tells me absolutely nothing about a car.

Hahaha. Thank goodness I don't drive an E30 M3. Those peasants.

Does the E46 M3 offer enough benefit over the E36 M3 to justify jumping into it?
P.S. On a serious note, but completely unrelated to this thread.... I've never liked the E36 to be honest. Nowhere as good looking as the rest. But damn it is fun. And cheap.
