I have Maxton lip and sides on my Rs5... but for some reason, I just don't know if i'd go with it on the M3. I think there are better, prettier lips out there for the M. With the RS, i'm limited to only this company.

My front lip is on. Didn't take any pictures of it yet. Very happy with the fitment. Just ordered the side skirts. Won't have those for a couple months.

Has anyone sucessfully ordered this lip from ecstuning recently? Every time I look at it, it seems to be on back order. I just cracked my carbon lip and would like to just replace it with a plastic piece like this.

How well does this material hold up over time? I cant avoid scraping living in LA, so i just want something that won't crack the first time it contacts the road.

I've had mine for almost 2 years now. No cracks, no chips. I live in Michigan, I'm lowered and scrap the bottom of the lip all the time. It's held up perfect and I couldn't be happier. If this lip was carbon fiber it would have been destroyed a long time ago.

Anyone know what the lip looks like with a carbon texture? Their website lists this lip with three different finishes. Textured, gloss black and carbon look. Gloss black seems like a safe bet but I'm curious about the carbon finish.

Never mind. I got a sample pic from one of their other splitters. Looks like gloss black is the best. The carbon wrap they use looks cheap. Here's a sample pic they sent me.

Here is my Maxton front lip which originally came in textured finish. Had the shop do it in gloss.

Did anyone order their lip through ECS? I got my arrived over thanksgiving. But only the lip showed up. Doesn't seem to come with any manual/hardware.

Also, do you need to drill in the front for the mounting holes? it looks to me the mounting holes do not align with OE bumper screw holes.

thanks

Can't help with your questions (still considering this lip), but I'm curious if your version has the little logo and indent in the center. If they've removed that in the newer versions from ECS, I'll probably order one.

Just got the lip installed. it isn't as significant as the JL Type A lip (so the face isn't as aggressive) but I destroyed 3 of those (car is lowered) and got tired of replacing the splitters.
