they are studded tires where you can retract the studs at the click of a switch

I'm new here... soon to be 2009 E90 M3 owner

I plan on using my M3 in the wintertime next year but here in Maryland I may just get all season tires since the snow isn't that severe here.

Is it possible to use a non-staggered 18" setup on the M3 sedans?

Hey! For some reason your screen name sounds so familiar to me... were you the same guy that organized that Fall Driving Meet from VA to Passport BMW back in the Fall of 2007? I'm the guy you were speaking with who has the partly mechanical heart made of carbon fiber.

Wow...nice pics jlapicki..now I am homesick and car sick! Hey I should be home next month...this month. What has the weather and temps been like so far? Mild winter or hard one? Should I even spring for winter tyres to put on my 18" setup for what 45-60 days till March begins and better temps hopefully? Come one any of you guys been looking at your almanacs for winter/spring forcasts yet? LOL

Not sure if you fellas saw my earlier question, but here it is again...

Is it possible to use a non-staggered 18" setup on the M3 sedans? I'd prefer a non-staggered 18" setup for wintertime.

Cool pics man, looks just like mine

It must have been fairly warm during your track sessions. I had to drive my M on pouring rain this morning here in Richmond, it was about 34 degrees and it was not a very comfortable ride, I had to keep it below 65 and even slower when changing lanes...scary

Please disregard my question here...

Sorry guys... I've come back to my senses now... there's no way I can possibly get rid of my twin screw S/C 323i... I'm too connected to it (all the CF mods and my CF mechanical heart) plus I've gotten so many PM's from people thanking me for inspiring them to mod their 323i's and people also thanking me for inspiring them to maintain a healthy heart... I just can't get rid of my 323i, with all the history I have with my car and bringing my little girl home from the hospital in my car for the first time after she was born.

I hope to eventually get an M3 but only if I get to keep both the 323i and the M3... financially that's not possible for me now so I'm happy to just enjoy what I have and continue to win more carshows and continue getting more car magazine exposure.

Thanks,
Navin
