Angel Eye Pros out there?
Hey guys,
I've had a set of angel eyes (camaross) for a little less than a year now and I've been having problems left and right. Here are a list of problems I've run into and troubleshooted at one time or another: 1.) Flickering on and off 2.) Error on screen 3.) Sometimes on and sometimes off Now I'm experiencing problems again. The angel eyes wont come on at all. I've actually installed "replacement harness" from camaross original kit. He was nice enough to provide that to me. But not after about 3/4 months the kit no longer works. I contacted him and hes a little slower to respond now... I was actually frustrated today so I just removed the whole kit thinking to go with angelibrights and changing the whole hid kit. I want the hid kit to work but with all this constant troubleshooting i'm debating if i should get something else. Sorry about the ramble wants to see if there was any PRO's at installing these kits that could either help me out wit some trouble shooting methods or maybe take a look? I'm currently waiting on Camaross response, he last asked me if I had a voltage meter, which i dont. Thanks in aDvance |

i never used the camaros kit, thought it was too expensive when the HID kit is about $50 on ebay.
i did it differently, i used the AUX wire to trigger the angel eyes now i am back to stock cuz i had a problem with one headlight (nothing to do with angel eyes) and i had to revert back to stock to take it to the dealer so they dont say you modified the car. cant wait to put them back in there is only one circuit board one one headlight you have a resistor the other side has a circuit board that plugs into the OEM headlight plug and from there goes to the relays there is a red and black wire going into they are just screwed down, not soldered and i know they are a weak spot if one of them is loose, it will cause exactly what you described |

where and what is the cadillac event? I actually took my whole kit out minus the bulbs, i just left those in for now. I was thinking of getting the AiB.... depending on time I might be able to squeeze some time to see if I can get this kit working.
