Valved Gintani race drone?

Hey guys!

Appologizes if this is a repost, but I was not able to find a similar thread.

After using the Meisterschaft GT2 for the summer, I can't stand the drone anymore. The exhaust sounds absolutely amazing but the drone is absolutely not manageable for daily driving.

I am aware the Gintani race drones but has anyone ever had the Valved version ordered from factory? I want to have a loud exhaust but have the option to turn the valves off and put the car into D3 and drive in a relaxed manner.

Thanks

the only after market exhausts that are not going to drone have Helmholtz chambers. valved or not, without the Helmholtz chambers they will drone.

unfortunately the best sounding exhausts at wot drone like crazy. I had an amazing sounding exhaust but the drone was killing me so i had to change it out for none drone design.

Huh, I see! Would it be the same issue with an IPE F1? Would that drone even with valves closed?

Thanks!

Is there room on the IPE to have an exhaust shop add some Helmholtz chambers somewhere?
It'll take out the drone.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

It will still drone. Aa makes a nice exhaust. It’s pretty loud too.
