Why does my radio shut off?

How can I stop my radio from turning off after about 10 minutes. It's so annoying. I constantly have push the start/stop button to turn it back on.

That's the way it works, and it turns off between 10 and 20 minutes depending on how many times you turned it on after shutting the car off.

That's to protect the battery.

What if I'm at a drive-in with two beautiful women and we are watching the latest movie? I'm sure it would be annoying!!!

Then you shouldn't turn engine off. I believe it's worth wasting gas for them.

I'll just take the escalade instead, the radio doesn't shut off and it's got lots of room!!!!!
