1/2 Mile Racing Trap Speeds

We took my wife's e92 to the wannaGOFAST event a couple of weekends ago and raced it on Sunday. She was able to pull back to back 135mph runs in the standing start 1/2. Personally...I thought the car was only going to be capable of 131mph.

What are stock e92's running in the standing start 1/2?

That sounds about right for wannagofast as I understand they run it at 3,000 feet elevation which is going to hurt trap speeds a lot for a N/A M3.

At the last noflyzone here in SoCal at 600 foot elevation there was a bone stock M3 in the upper 130's from what I remember.

GA/VA events for wannaGOFAST are in crazy high DA. It effects the NA cars a lot. Even my nitrous fed supercharged car has issues in comparison to sea level.

What's up bro. Nice meeting you. Next time drop in a couple gallons of race gas to see if you can break 140 which would make you pretty close to the tune/downpipe white M4 that was there.

Or do the blower thing if upper 150's sounds appealing

Great meeting you too! I definitely think some race gas and playing with tire pressures could have gotten me in the 140s, i thought it would be okay on 91 but definitely had timing pull like you said as temps started to creep up in the afternoon.

I cant believe that m4 was tuned with the small gap in speeds we had between us, id love to build a stroker and show him taillights next time. SC would do nicely aswell
