Limp Mode
Some background first..
For the past 1-2 months, my idle on my 2010 E92 M3 has been unstable jumping up and down I suspected it was the Throttle Bottle Actuators, but the code never came on so I kept driving normally Today, my engine went into limp mode and I drove it around the block once and restarted the engine 3-4 times to make sure and the code still stays What should I do next to confirm my problem? Do I just have to get the car scanned for codes? |

Will I have failing actuators? In all seriousness, pull some codes with a reader. Dave

Pulled codes and it came out to be Bank 1
I'm going to replace both TBAs, but also pulled another code: 002B59 Thermostat monitoring I haven't had any other light on my car in the past that indicated any issues about this Could be a false reading? |

Time to replace! Fairly easy DIY. Don't pay the stealership.
