I'm on e90 post and just found this thread and I'm in the same boat fellas. 23 weeks later and no check.

Bought an e90 335i dinan exhaust system and the money could prove to be useful right about now.

I am a bit worried to tell you the truth.

I hope we get this resolved.

New email today from dinanrebates@dinancars.com. I've heard this before, but hopefully it's true this time. They should have received my letter today - not sure if that's what prompet this.

I was just contacted as well by dinan rebates saying they just finished a stack of rebates and my name is in the next one. Def. puts a bad taste in my mouth after this experience.

Gotta be honest, unless its an incredible deal, I probably won't be going with Dinan again.

How about the 5% rebate?

I have been waiting and following the thread. The misery loves company concept.
I too, finally got my check last week.
What do you think about the lame 5% rebate coupon Dinan sent along to make up for the "inconvenience", read incompetence?
I had envisioned one additional upgrade with Dinan, however the slow pay rebate deal just makes me want to spit. It's all about the principal.

5% rebate coupon? I didn't get one. Was it a "rebate" or "discount" coupon?

It's a 5% rebate. If it were an actual discount coupon I'd be feeling a little better about Dinan. A 10% to 15% discount coupon would pretty much make amends.

The 5% rebate coupon, that apparently not everyone that was inconvenienced got, is good until 10/31/2010.

So if you use the 5% rebate coupon and it takes 28 weeks to get the rebate, do you then get a 1% rebate coupon for the inconvenience?

I was never nasty. That can be counterproductive. Send another inquiry to dinanrebates@dinancars.com.

Agreed. I was persistent not nasty. I wrote them about every three weeks starting in August. I wrote the note and then waited a day before sending it and had to work at keeping it terse, not crude.
And I was rewarded with an almost worthless 5% rebate.

By nasty, I mean stating that I will take action against them if I don't get my check soon. I don't want to go there as it will waste more of my time, but this is really beginning to piss me off in principle. I already sent them 3 emails, and that doesn't seem to change anything. I've aready stated my view nicely but firmly 3 times--no point in doing it again. I must assume there are various laws they are violating my not honoring the rebate, and I can probably find someone to take a well documented complaint seriously.
