I have no experience with Griots. The car had a 4-month old coat of P21s Carnauba on it that I thought still looked pretty good. But this stuff is unreal. It looks like a ceramic coating. And all I did was wipe the car dry with a microfiber drying towel. Not a streak on the car, did it in open shade, 90 degrees.

When you spray it on the car, it looks like something is going on as soon as the spray hits the water on the car. Beading starts immediately. And it gets very thick.

Read the reviews on Amazon or Autogeek for this and they are all the same. Nobody can believe it works as good as it does with so little effort.

Other than wanting to use up the bottle that I have, I can't see a reason to ever wax the car again. Like I wrote, I probably went overboard and used too much.

Go for it!

BavGruppe. Shop around before you buy their round rings. Highly recommend getting a professional install.

Make sure you rinse like crazy in all the body seams, because the stuff will get in there and coat everything, so you have to rinse it out. Even the back of the door handles will get coated, which I found out the first time I opened the door and my hand just about slid off the car.

And do your wheels as well.

Dropped my m3 at RRT on Sunday for rod bearings and other doodads. I will join the BE/ARP gang shortly.

Gave myself a project to refresh my old e46. Finding my path on an interior detail that includes carbon 3m vinyl wrap. I think it looks pretty good. Check it out.

Bimmerworld Premium Race Studs and Kics K40 Lug Nuts. I was going to do the Dinan shift lever but didn't feel like messing with it...another time.

Got a visual estimate on my rear end. Body shop (Caliber Collision) will try to fix this bumper before replacing it. If the structure is damaged beneath the skin the car will go to a Caliber "Luxury" shop.

Local, yep...DIY, definitely not tackling a list like that. Took it to a local mechanic shop who has done work on my last 2 M3's. I don't mind doing some beginner DIY stuff but I am way too nervous to open the engine and maybe bugger something up.

2011 E90 M3, no track days known to me (3rd owner), previous owner was a member here and I don't believe he tracked it. Mileage was 125,000 kilometers or basically 75,000 miles. Oil changes every 5 to 7K.
