▀▄ eas | A Wolf in Sheep's Clothing: VF620 Supercharged content inside

Enclosed are pictures from a recent E90 M3 VF620 Supercharger build at our facility in Anaheim, CA.

Only one request was made. Make it ungodly !@#$%(&# fast while keeping the OEM look and feel.

This E90 dynoed strong at 351whp/263lb-ft TQ. By the time the VF620 Supercharger system was strapped on, those numbers jumped to 521whp/357 ft-lb TQ: A total gain of 170whp/94 lb-ft TQ! Clearly a Wolf in Sheep's Clothing.

Underhood images

Installation

Dyno

The build is intended to be completely stock looking while staying under the radar from suspecting eyes. By the time you realize what's happening - the only view you'll see is E90 taillights disappearing into the horizon.

Enjoy!

i wish i could make it out to mfest, but the dates are undesirable. this car looks awesome, does it have any exhaust work or anything. Does the vf kit not require xpipe?

This E90 is running the OEM X-pipe and muffler.

While not required, additional gains can be seen if the stock exhaust is swapped out for a catless X-Pipe.

as much as I love a well modified car, there is just something about a inconspicuous car just blowing everything away...

Awesome work!!

If the owner wanted to take advantage of removing the cats, they should get a catless x-pipe and pair it with the stock rear end...almost stock sound levels at idle and low speeds but it screams when you get on it

I agree. Less is more in some cases.

Not planned at this time, he's very inept on keeping it as OEM looking as possible.

Actually, this M3 was just at Buttonwillow last weekend. We'll be seeing more of it soon.

In the meantime, here's a few more pictures during installation:

Front Bumper removed

OEM Intake Manifold removed

VF Supercharger Manifold installed

Installation of rotomolded Inlet Tract

Drive Belt installation

Almost there - final assembly

Heat Exchanger installed behind OEM bumper

K&N Filter, located in stock inlet tract

Enjoy!

I believe I saw this car at the EAS shop around the first of the year. Clean looking car, showroom stock. When I heard that the owner was looking to supercharge his car I couldn't believe it. I had to do a double take, and still couldn't put the image I was seeing with the thought of this car being SCed. Unbelievable.

This guy is going to need to drive around with a GoPro permanently mounted to the rear bumper of his car! People are going to go nuts when he leaves them wondering what in the hell just happened.
