I don't like matte black too much but I do like all the limited edition versions BMW is coming out with. It's a great way to get a M3 from the factory that really stands out.
When I'm in the market for a new M3, I'm just going to tell the SA to put me on the next limited edition list. Because there's just about one every year.

This flat black trend needs to stop, seriously. It looks like an unpainted car. The only time it SORT OF works is on a super car like an F430.

I seen 4 matt black cars in the space of a day in Atlanta, the funny thing is they were all tin can V8's... (sorry cant be specific as I may upset someone who has a Chrylser 300 in their garage) oops....

I agree that matte black is passé.
True matte black is quite bad looking. Satin (semi-matte) looks much better Frozen grey looks quite like unpainted OEM bumpers I'm quite curious about the Sepang. I've always liked that color |
