Vorsteiner Style Front Lip Fit

All,

I got one of the Vorteiner knock off Front Lips and was wondering if this is the proper fit and if anyone else has run into this problem? Thanks

Are you sure you mounted it correctly?

What vendor did you buy that from so we can stay away from that product.

I had a JL Motoring VRS replica lip and the fitment was pretty much like an authentic one. I currently have HD Auto Salon's Luma lip and I have no complaints about its fitment either. I haven't seen a replica lip fit that poorly anywhere on the forum before, but where did you get it? It is way too short on both sides and the fitment is just plain embarrassing.

Where did you buy from (so.. at least rest of us can avoid the vendor)?
But sorry to see your fitment issue...

I had that the first time as well, so I forked out and bought the real one afterwards.

I had an authentic vorsteiner lip and the fit wasnt perfect, namely the gaps at the very end were there, not as big, but there.

I currently have the HD Auto Lumma lip and it actually fits better IMO

Now that you mention it, go for the Arkym front lip. It looks awesome and is about less than half the price for a Vorsteiner lip. I would have gone that route, but unfortunately it did not exist until a few weeks ago

Thanks guys. I bought the lip from JBSPEED. Some of you are correct, you get what you pay for. I'm not saying that they all fit like this one, but the one they sent me, doesn't come close.

I'd contact JB and try to exchange it. I had a front lip from JL motoring before and it fit great. I put my car next to another M3 w/ the authentic vorsteiner front lip and you couldn't tell a difference.

Those are my plans. Hopefully, they will own up to it and replace it.

They will (as they should). Because if they don't take responsibility, they'll lose most of business from us in the forum. That'll be big business loss considering we have the biggest E9X M3 forum in the planet.

Only perfect fit is OEM. I have a replica lip purchased from JL and it's a pretty good fit. That looks horrible. I would definitely ask for a refund.

I just installed the JL motoring lip and I've got a half inch shortfall on one side. Less than a quarter inch on the other side.

I parked next to my buddy's M3 with an actual vorsteiner front end and he too had similar length issues.

My decision was around getting an asthetic I appreciated for a price worthy of the fact that it would be destroyed or removed prior to selling the car.

The VRS replica lip I have has decent fitment. Nothing to complain about really from a rep. Looks like yours is a bit extreme though.
