Servotronics is part of the motor tune.

All else can be done separately sure no problem

-240E is the factory software level.

If I need to reflash a tune map after going back to stock, should I still run the flash first file or can I go straight to the engine tune.map? Thanks

Some have bouncy idle after a flash. Doing two starts helps set idle.

Hi Alex,
I still experienced this after the two starts and when at a stop light my idle is around 900rpm. Will that eventually go away?

Besides that, the tune has been great. It really has improved throttle response and low end has improved.

Idle isn't touched by the tune at all or controlled by the tune. If you are confusing you having a higher idle with a bouncy idle, the idle will fluctuate between 600 to 900 on these cars as you drive them.

Bouncy idle is when the car feels like it is going to stall.

Hi Alex, one other follow up - is your GTS DCT tune the same as factory GTS, or modified by you? If the latter, how so? Thanks!

I will throw my review in here as well. Alex is the real deal, great to work with, and very professional. I purchased my cable on Valentine's Day and to my surprise, I had a tracking number a couple of hours later. Furthermore, it was express shipping which I wasn't expecting at all.

I followed the instructions in his email, loaded his tune, and the car fired up without any issues. A couple of days later, I got a number of codes which I thought were tune related. After a number of emails back and forth, he assured me that it was not tuning related and that there was an underlying issue. Sure enough, I tore the car apart, found that one of air pump hoses came loose, and that was the cause of the codes.

I can't compare his tune versus another tuners, but the car runs well and I have not experienced any issues. Lastly, I requested another tune a couple of weeks after my initial tune, and he sent it within a day of my request.

If you're on the fence, I would go with him. I'm picky about my tuners as I tune my own cars which isn't an option on this platform and I didn't want to blindly trust an OTS tune, but I have been pleased and grateful that I choose him. His communication and response time is phenomenal. Lastly, you cannot beat his price. I will throw up a dyno graph once I get the car on the dyno after the current situation passes.

Valet is separate tune - Can't run it in conjunction with standard stage 1 / 2.

Alex, if I place my stock primary cats temporarily to pass visual inspection (I'm in Germany). Do I have to reflash back to stock? Will I have a service engine soon light?

I'm currently on your stage 2 file tune from 2018. Probably driving 50 miles total through this ordeal.

it would be fine to use the stage 2 file assuming you don’t drive the car hard, otherwise just flash back to stage 1 to avoid any issues.

Curious, with a stage2 tune running a primary cat deletes on an otherwise stock engine is it possible to get all but 1 readiness monitor set? I assume the o2 will not reach readiness with the primaries deleted.

I also wanted to know if a stage 2 tune is ok for an xpipe such as ESS with 200cpsi high flow cats in the primary section? Maybe there's a special option for such setup? I heard that running a catless tune is a bad idea and can melt the cats.

Ok thanks! I'd never get burbles for this car lol.
Now I'm just waiting for the next promo!
