What DCT mode are you in? It should only blip in D4, D5, S4, S5,S6 modes.

I didn't know Dinan sold a 3.62 diff!

Very interesting how the tune didn't solve the issue. Looking forward to hearing more

I drove it around and realized that the downshift rev matching is very funky. It doesnt match it correctly at times and sometimes it just doesnt even try to match it.

So I went ahead and bought the alpine 3.62 tune. It is definitely better than it was before. Now car does not act funky and when it does the rev match, it is on point. But the issue is unlike the stock cars, it doesn't match all the time. It only matches in lower gears and at certain RPMs.

For example, when I am cruising at 7th gear and put M mode and downshift to speed up, it doesnt rev match until I am at like 3rd gear.

I have brought it up to Alex at Alpine but he says that "BLIP" is actually bad and it is a mismatch and when I don't hear anything it is doing the job better.

As much as I respect Alex from previous experiences, I just think this is not true. I have owned multiple manual cars and that BLIP is there to match the mechanical rev of the lower gear.

At the current state, the car is acting like an automatic car without rev-matching feature at certain gears.

Has anyone figured out how to correctly fix this issue? I just want the rev matching working ALL the time not only at certain gears and certain RPM.
I have a read a few threads about aftermarket diff and I know at least one of the threads had post about the same or similar issue with rev matching. He had a video example as well. I believe he had someone code something to fix the issue.

This thread has the info. https://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1374974

Maybe info here too

Peter De La Mare got his fixed, maybe contact him. I can't get the @ thing working for people with spaces in their name...

BPMSport seems like they know how to fix this for you and was offering to do it free I think for the first couple people who needed fixing.

Final ratio can be changed in DME, not TCU. Mine was changed 3.45 when I installed final drive gear.

ECU learns the final ratio and this is never fix 3.15, 3.45 or 3.62. You can read this with INPA.
Ratio has to be changed at TCU.

Very interested in you finding a solution. I was thinking of 3.62 but if it can't be made to work correctly then i won't

There are some perfectly working 3.62 FD installs with no tune at all. And some just act weird or don't rev match properly. It seems pretty random and is the main reason I went with 3.45 in the end.
