These were the days... For the next test take a corner at the end of the straight.

Wrong gen RS4 for comparison, though.

It sucks losing. But I suppose if you ever catch up, you can tell the guy that if there were some corners you would have won. Most street encounters are relatively short straightaways.

Would love to have all 3 in my garage (also IS F). NA V8 in compact luxury sedans will never happen again.

Everyone is going V6 put a Turbo on it. Even the new C63 I heard is going to a V6 also.
The e92 and C63 last great year was 2013, after that Its all Turbo.

Porsche is still making a couple of NA flat sixes for limited production cars. Not sure what the Audi R8 has now. Base model Corvette, Camaro, Challenger/challenger, Mustang are also N/A V8 but not high end. I think I read the semi exotic GT350 5.2L motor is being discontinued. Toyota IS F is still N/A V8, I think.

Lexus GS F (IS F was discontinued in 2014) has N/A V8, but is big and heavy (and not pretty IMO). There are some NA V8s in the market but none in a package like e90 (compact size, good handling, decent interior).

Garage List
They did this comparison before on a different video and the M3 did terrible. Looks like the driver did somewhat better this time.

They forget to tell us in this video that this c63 is tuned, cats removed from the exhaust and it's on air bags..
I've raced many, many c63's from that generation in my m3 and we always end up in a car length of each other.. sometimes the ///M wins sometimes the AMG wins.. this video is not a good comparison but I guess that's what happens when these cars are 10+ years old
