Side question re these tires.

Has anyone flipped them despite the inside/outside tire designation? The outside gets hammered flat and the inside looks brand new after 4-5 Autoxs. My guess is the sidewalk is not up to the task but thought I’d ask.

I was planning on flipping mine after 50 runs, but they didn't last that long...

And you arenít concerned about the inside tire designation? It would be great to get double the life out of them if it works.

I also wondered if the compound is the same across the tire where some tires have stickier compounds for the outside tread.

Not directly related to the A052, but I've been flipping numerous r-compound tires for years without any problems. I personally wouldn't worry about it and would say do it, others might disagree. If you're not comfortable with it then don't, but many people do it without issue.

Agreed, I'm not worried about flipping at all. Especially for Autocross.

Check with the manufacturer. Some of these race tires have specific guidelines for proper rotation and flipping.
