TA P0639; Any mechanically inclined in Norcal?
I just started getting DSC light + reduced engine power + break light. If I turn off the car and turn it back on it usually doesn't come back on until the next drive (though it did several times yesterday. I pulled the codes with a generic reader and code P0639 which according to http://www.m3post.com/forums/showpos...0&postcount=49 is the dreaded Throttle Valve Actuator problem common with these cars (sigh).
Has anyone had experience working/fixing with this? I've done suspension work and valve adjustment on my on my e46 but i'm not sure how this compares. What might be a reasonable cost + labor? |

If you adjusted valves on an S54 then swapping TA's is a walk in the park. 1-2 hours if you're even marginally skilled.
