Carly for BMW FRM module fault codes
Need some help.... Got a Carly for BMW Gen II and tried to code some items in the FRM (Light and mirrors) but I keep getting a warning that several "faults" have been found in the FRM and to enter a four number code to continue... I did but none of the coding took. I researched and it appears to be a known problem with the FRM. I wondering if anyone has dealt with this and what I can do to fix it.

Just got mine today and my first attempt at coding the FRM resulted in " Carly has found severe faults in your FRM and has therefore NOT coded your FRM" . Didn't proceed with the code to continue though. Was so excited to do the angel eyes coding. |

If you clear the faults, does it let you continue?

Same here, have mirrors done and previously angel eye brightness with no issues. Check with Carly. Cheers

Been using it for almost a year now. Just did FRM matter of fact the other day and it worked fine. What codes is it pulling in diagnostic mode?
BTW if you're on iphone version 27.3.1 came out the other day |

OP any updates on your issue? I'm still waiting for Carly Support to reply my email.
Updated to the new Carly app ver on iPhone still no joy. Btw, am having another issue with my seat belt extender where the motor keeps turning with a loud sound after extension. Not sure if this is related to the FRM. Also, cleared all the fault codes already before trying to do the FRM codings, still no joy. |
