Anyone in AU had experience / Brave enough to do some coding mods yet?

Bimmercode only supports F and G-series cars. I was going to use it on my mates E90 but then realised that it won't be supported.

Works great on my F20 LCI.

Most on here in an E9X have gone for Carly instead. That works great.

FYI I ordered a Carly Gen 2 adaptor while I was searching for my M3, in fact used it to code check a few cars.

Within days of getting my M3 I'd already coded a few things (iDrive nag screen, VIM). Going to code my afore mentioned friends car (E91, not E90!) in the next few days.

Have Carly as well. Did the job quickly and easily. Keep in mind they have recently changed to a subscription model - $80 odd a year.

E90 is currently supported using BimmerCode. I have a 2011 328i Xdrive LCI Sedan and experienced no issues. I’m using the Veepeak BLE OBD2 wireless scan tool.

I have used BimmerGeeks ProTool (Android App) for my car.
I coded in the ABS/DSC unit with it, as well as I coded VIN in some second hand modules that I fitted.

+1 on Protool. I have used it for many things and it has been flawless. 1 time fee, not recurring and not vin locked.

Am I reading that pricing right? US$160 to activate both diagnostics and coding?

Have used ProTool to modify VO and make changes. Imo it's easier and faster and with expert mode you have full access to the complete TRC file.

I was using a friend's tablet, seems like a decent tool coming from someone who always used NCS expert.
