Classic Indeed. A sad goodbye. Rest in peace.

As an E93 M owner I understand all the comments about its worthiness of being an M car. But as anyone who has driven verts before, this car is fun to drive and is as good as any vert can be.

Your dealer did not deceive you. The last US/Canadian spec M3 rolled of the assembly line on October 1st.

As a detractor used to frequently write here, the E93 is an "afterthought." And I can't wait to see the next afterthought in 2014/2015! P.S. in case anyone missed the M3 and M4 videos: - V .

The sedan ended its production two years ago? Is that what you're saying? If you mean "months" than the E93 probably began later also (it follows the others). - V .

Right. Limited supply of replacements. Guess I really have to look at the Rev's on the tachometer now.

Though I don't think this will happen by any degree that it did with the 993 Porsche, I think that 20 years down, this car will still be looked at fondly. Losing NA is as big or bigger of a deal as it was for Porsche enthusiasts to lose air cooled engines.
But due to production numbers and the overall more easily accessible price points of the S65 M3 from new to used, I highly doubt this car will retain value the way those 993s that still claim 38-95k depending on C2S or Turbo variants... |
