LUX H8 Gold vs. PIAA Yellow ring bulbs

Hi everyone,

I've been looking for a set of yellow halo ring bulbs. The two I've seen recommended are the Lux H8 Gold and PIAA Ion Yellow bulbs. Was wondering what would be recommended. I see the Lux is about $150 more but I don't have an issue paying if they are better.

Thanks!

So I actually went with this brand instead.
led halo

I’ve been using this for over 2 years no issues. I also coded my halos to be the brightest during DRL (daytime) and then it dims when the headlights are on.

I’ll attach some images of how bright they are, but pictures don’t do it justice.

I’ve been running the Lux H8 Gold for at least a couple of years, bought them pre-owned as well. They have been totally reliable and actually draw more comments because they have a different look to the bright white everyone else has. I am extremely happy with their brightness levels too. I will say they do tend to be on the amber side of the colour spectrum rather than yellow if that matters to you.
