How is the installation done? Is it an at-home job? Any tools needed?

I wish I could convince myself those prices were reasonable.

jesus christ those prices are insane.
IMO its pretty much a rip off. Im sorry but i cant justify $489 for a thin piece of wet CF for the side marker that is hardly visible.... talk about price gouging...maybe once more people start making these the prices will get more reasonable. But until then ill pass, maybe you guys will get lucky when im intoxicated or in a altered state of consciousness.

I have to agree the price is a bit high. $380+ for a piece of wet CF laid over a 3 inch piece of plastic for the hood vents???
Can you guys guarantee that there wont be any bubbling after time? I have seen several people with CF grills that honestly look like crap because they have started to bubble. I am just hoping for over $400 that there would be no chance of them bubbling after a month or 2...

Nate, your absolutly right about the weak dollar, that is why I feel the price should be adjusted, now I know how the CF/aftermarket part industry works and I can say that you have ALOT of room to work with. I can tell you that the current price was determined because you guys are the only ones that have this product, a few months from now when 2 or 3 vendors get theirs the price will dramatically go down. the current price was not determined on how hard it is to make these.
so your right Nate, I'll move on for now but if anyone has more money than brains then by all means go for it because they do look very nice.

Its an OEM part, wrapped with CF. OEM parts are expensive from the get go, M3 OEM parts are no exception, not sure why its a surprise.
Product looks great guys, good job! |
